Banksy is an anonymous English graffiti artist, political activist, film director and painter. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine irreverent dark humour with graffiti done in a distinctive stencilling technique. Such artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world.
Banksy's works deal with an array of political and social themes, including anti-War, anti-capitalism, anti-fascism, anti-imperialism, anti-authoritarianism, anarchism, nihilism, and existentialism. Additionally, the components of the human condition that his works commonly critique are greed, poverty, hypocrisy, boredom, despair, absurdity, and alienation. Although Banksy's works usually rely on visual imagery and iconography to put forth his message, he has made several politically related comments in his various books. In summarising his list of "people who should be shot", he listed "Fascist thugs, religious fundamentalists, (and) people who write lists telling you who should be shot." While facetiously describing his political nature, Banksy declared that "Sometimes I feel so sick at the state of the world, I can’t even finish my second apple pie."

What Muslim journalists think about the UK media
Journalists from Muslim backgrounds speak about how they feel about the mainstream media's coverage of Islam and their place in the industry.
How musical are you?
The BBC is teaming up with researchers at Goldsmiths University of London to find out whether personality or practice creates great musicians.
The aim is to establish the most basic musical skills shared by everyone and those achieved through years of training and practice. The team from Goldsmiths believe that people's listening habits and their emotional connection with music could predict whether or not they have untapped musical ability.

I give a damn about my bad representation.
Look how oppressed these Iranian girls are.
Of course, schoolgirls in hijab huddled together must only mean one thing. They're doing something suspicious like reading a provocative novel. The uncropped picture however is of university students reading a newspaper. It's certainly a nice way to appease western audiences.
